I didn’t realize Jim Jarmusch had a new film out. Seen everything he’s done, looking forward to it. Even if it is yet another vampire movie. (Thought that genre was played out by now.)

But being a musician, being intellingent and having seen every Jarmusch-movie you should love it. And yes its a vampire-movie but without much action. It just deals with the tristesse of immortality.

It strikes me how close to a young Lou Reed’s voice Joe’s was. Perhaps not as early as ‘Berlin’ but around mid- to late 70’s. The production is great on this track, Hans. Clear as crystal and just the neccesary elements to make this an extraordinary song. Very very good.
