a round-trip ticket to a walking tour on the planet ‘somewhere out there’. a nice thick stew of interesting sounds.

I like the way the background rhythm lopes along, holding it all together (just). Curiously relaxing!

Thanks OD, glad to know I wasn’t the only one thinking this was sort of relaxing, in a strange way :)

More samples in one song than other musicians use in their entire life, but still you manage to turn it into a whole. Pretty impressive too how you manage to hold it all together production-wise. It’s very dense, but still very pleasing to these ears. As always, a pleasure listening to your offerings.

Thanks Subliminal,
I do tend to go on massive sample sprees, just because at some point “it’ll fit something…” ;-)

Really, really great, duckett. It makes me think of that Hitchcock film ‘Rear Window’. pong.wav? Well it was only a matter of time.

Thanks CB-
“Rear Window”? Quite the comparison!
Yes, “pong.wav”… I don’t name ‘em, though; I just sample ‘em
:P

I’m so glad you used my “is that a laser in your pocket” line.
I’ve been walking up to random aliens in the street for weeks now asking them just that; testing their terrestrial credentials.
Kind of like immigration at Heathrow.
Great track Mr Duck.
Why is it that when I search the tag “weird” your name is at the top of the search results? ;-)

Why, thank you, sir; ‘twas most kindly of ye to furnish yon titular pella…
In answer to your question, imagine me spreading my hands wide apart while saying, “A fish this orange!”
(Upon hearing these words, scomber suddenly became as enlightened as he was before hearing them.)

Man, you are just such an artist. All the textures and craziness in this should be hard to manage but you make it all seem so effortless. I’m crazy about this remix.

…just pleased to hear ya. I like how committed you are to the concept here. This is easy to get lost in and a satisfying wallow, very cool.

Wasn’t this featured on an episode of Twin Peaks? :-P

More seriously, just discovered this and it made my night.
