Like it mucho. I’ve been in the experimental rap mood today; and this
hit the spot. You know there’s this neo-prog-rock outfit called “Spock’s Beard”? Bought one of their CD’s “V”.
I don’t care for it…. Porcupine Tree is where it’s at. Wow, I’m really off-topic.
Really like the song; and I recommend it to the masses.

Sorry. One Christopher Lambert reference per day, the doctor said.

Prog rock in general is an acquired taste. I prefer older bands, especially Gentle Giant, but there’s a lot of good prog metal out there. If you’re into “odd” time signatures, you may like it.

I actually haven’t heard that much stuff by them. I think a few of their tracks are on the big Metal Blade Records box, sandwiched between Gwar and Armored Saint.

This is bugged out!

I like how you chop up my lyrics as samples “Lord Boddyker” and “Weird Like Spock with a beard”, that is one of the basic foundation of hip hop, taking a sample and creating a groove or hook from it. I like it a lot when its done here on CC.

Perfect synch, the 1st minute sounds like the Neptunes, but much better. And the beat with the verse has a great experimental hip hop feel, but very concrete and hot.

And dammit, I really dig how you sampled “weird like spock with a beard…” for the hook, really creative.

I know Gwar, but I don’t know much prog-rock. Coheed and Cambria, but they sound a little pretentious for me.

I’m trying to listen to Meshuggah, but I think they rank under math metal, that is a bit ove rmy head too.

Thanks for listening! That organ-sounding thing was a created waveform in Sawcutter, Thanks to gurdonark for that tip-off-
I couldn’t get that line out of my head, so I had to go make a track out of it, you have real memorable verse!
