The instrumental part is in itself awesome. So, IMVHO, I dunno if it needs Diane’s otherwise brilliant vocals. Could you post an instrumental only of this? If it is already somewhere, please point me there …

I did, and somehow, it’s not as good as the first Sad. And I’m sorry, but the melodies of Diane and your instrumentals just don’t go together, IMHO.
I like instrumentals, I’m a big fan of filmscores, Shearmur (Cruel Intentions), Newman (American Beauty) Nyman, (Gattacca) and of course Ennio Morricone.
Trance is my other love.
I’ll keep a lookout for your other stuff, but you have so much already … ;)

PS Okay, after re-listening, I think that while the combi of the vocals and the instrumental aren’t topnotch, they aren’t completely horrible either. That was my first impression. Now that I’m more used to it, it’s not so incongruent as I first thought. Still, you might consider asking a vocalist to sing with your loops and stuff, than use something which has a complete different rythym and cadence and all that. And since you timed her vocals to fall just before the start of the theme … ? ;) ;)

Don’t wanna rain, just me 2 cts.
You realize, of course that I am just part of the general public. I’m giving you my opinion in that respect, so that it’s not only co-musicians who review. It might be kinda odd, reviewing when I don’t make music myself, but still … ;)

PS 2
The title is well-chosen, I can imagine some heartbreaking sequence of lost love from a movie or tv-series. And it kinda lodged in me brain for some days now …
