It’s an honor to be part of a bigbonobo production! Once again your production skill shines. And you made me blush! (Also, would you please add me and artexflow as source? Thanks.)

Ooooch ! forgot that once again ! It’s done ! Artexflow recorded that tracks at home and didn’t uploaded it on ccmixter. I did, as parts of the Emergence emergency loops I sent 2 days ago… Forgive me. XXX

This is sooo good. Combines the best of the music I listened to in the 80s with very contemporary sounds/techniques. Great, great work.

I’m not totally satisfied by the mix…needs a little bit more bass, some medium in the synths are agressive…I’ll try to get it better. What do you say ?

Oh no - don’t ask me. Just because I’m opinionated doesn’t mean I know what the hell I’m talking about. :)

OK - I am listening to this on these earphones (quite frequency neutral) and I can’t hear any mixing crimes - more of a taste thing.

The bass is great already - I wouldn’t change it. The gated synths in the first refrain are absolutely perfectly mixed - great way to catch the attention.
That said, maybe you could mix them just a bit lower the second time around to make sure they don’t drown out the vocals.

But understand that this would just be a tweak. This is an excellent track. Wish I could have made it.
