I also like this track a lot. Voice and piano might be classic (although the harmonic progression isn’t simple at all), yet the synth aural soundscape - resembling ghosts- and digital machinery sounds make this track very modern. Also brass sit well in the sound and reveal a deep attention to the mixing phase.
