Bummer about the way it came to be but very much diggin’ the way it came out. I don’t hear any imperfection but I do hear the ‘who I am’ clear as a holiday bell. It’s a lovely, clean and positive mix. Well done.

Thanks dear Speck. I missed out on a beautiful sunny day yesterday as I was inside with the computer, but it’s been so long since I’ve done a remix that I had fun.

I hope you and yours are staying well as the seasons change and the new year approaches.

Well, THAT’S a festive, joyous, seasonal gem! SO LOVE-FILLED! Such an enjoyable listen… I love all the bells and gongs and chimes and percussion… just tons of fun all around! Extra props for dealing with the technical difficulties! I know how devastating that can be. BIG HUGS to you and yours, Susan!!!

Thanks Kara. You are always so warm and supportive. I had fun with this (except for the corruption of course — corruption is not fun.)

Hope you and yours have a peaceful winter.

This is wonderful! I am honored to be included in one of your remixes, and in great company, as well! I can’t help but beam :)

PS I like your new avatar picture — the lens reflection is so cool!

Thank you! I’m so glad you like it. Your shares are wonderful! We are all lucky you found your way to ccMixter.

Glad you like to new photo — it’s more recent than the last one. I don’t know about you, but I certainly don’t look the way I used to. ;-p

Happy holiday season to you and yours.

” I try to make up for the lack of finesse with heart ”

YOU NEVER ’ EVER ’ NEED TO THINK LIKE THAT.. especially on here !

We all make contributions to this site for one reason.. to be part of a bigger picture.

Everyone is an integral cog in the musical wheel here .. so whatever our skill levels of musicianship is irrelevant as we should contribute regardless of what others would think.
( that’s how i perceive it anyway )

To my ears.. you do have elements in your mix that i could use ( like i have heard previously on other contributions you have made ) AND im sure many other remixers hear those elements and the inspiration you have created too

Your words state perfectly what is in my heart.

Thank you. You are absolutely right. ccMixter is one of those rare places where we can safely learn and play.

But there are bits in here that are harsh to my ears … I was moving fast.

Thank you so much for listening. For your kind words, and support.

And I am particularly pleased that you have integrated my stems so well.
I’m sorry for the work … and the crash.
But it was rewarded. You have made a beautiful Christmas carol for all nations of the world!
Everyone should hear it! Sung very nicely!

Well, there’s certainly nothing shabby about this lovely song! The glimmering bells and chimes ring in holiday spirit in my heart. (Love that verb on the trumpet too.) Your harmonies are divine — like a choir of angels.

“Look at what we have instead of what we lack”

Yes, your song is helping me carry on in this moment. Beautiful Susan.
