I think you’ve used the samples perfectly. They support the tone of your vocal well and nothing is overdone. Really rather excellent.

great mix Mr Robert just a complementary comment, i would of just had a little reverb to the voice just to make more…dave linchy

Thanks latopa. There actually was a mix with some reverb on the vocal but the mix overall wasn’t quite as good so I went for this one. I might be able to resolve this if I come back to the track. I never know quite what to do with my voice to be absolutely honest.

Your vocals are unbelievable cool.
(Checked just some of your older tracks….) Very cool….looking forward to remix U.

This mix is btw. hot. kind of “Blue Velvet” or “Twin Peaks” alike.

Thanks so much Siobhan. I’ll look forward to being remixed! I can see what you mean about the David Lynch thing. There’s a retro rock ‘n’ roll feeling about the sample uploaded by Smiling Cynic which I’m sure is part of the reason it appealed to me.
