I was a bit down tonight until I heard this gem. Mr Loveshadow I am absolutely honored to have you as a friend. We all need to be reminded of how thankful we should truly be. Next time we meet up in Sweden I will be packing all my recording gear as you should…and we will make an album out in one of those beautiful Swedish homes on the archipelago!

I have to set something straight here. This song is not simple, imho. In fact I think it’s one of the most complicated things I’ve ever heard. I don’t know how you got it all to work but it is just mindblowing how much stuff you have going on in here. I can only implore those who see this is just a nice holiday tune to look below the surface and listen to the stems.

hey thanks :-) I don’t think there is anything more complex happening than most tunes when you break them down. It may seem that way as each layer gets jammed as a riff then is revised when another is put on top. That’s the fun part of making the jigsaw puzzle all fit. If you want simple /complex go listen to Rogers and Hammerstein,for me the best education in song writing ever and here with in the link with the wonderful Marni Nixon. But compliment accepted.

I have to say, this is one of the best pop tracks I have ever heard. The Lyric, Vocal,and Music Arrangement are unforgettable. I love this.
