Ahh. You might be surprised to hear it, but this is entirely to my taste. I love the combination of elements - the interplay between the vocals and the guitars and the crisp, crunchy drums - as well as the call/answer of the refrain vocals and the sax.

I love it.

It had your musical talent, able to bring an element of melody to his voice and this song very special ….

Your guitar and saxophone are the perfect compliment to the voice — all are rich in tone and feeling. Terrific!

The way the sax interacts with the vocals is so creative and intelligent. Really really cool, sir.

The richness/depth of tone catches you right away. The richness/depth of content soon catches up. It seems to be both careful and daring. It is a new favorite. It is wonderful.

Hey man, first off thanks for your kind words on the pellas. I see you did a back to back on 2 of them [will listen to this other mix in a jiffy] This is some devilish mix ala Massive Attack; kind of dark and sumptuous trip-hop/electronica? … with this irresistible touch of jazz. It truly captures the tragic as well as the exotic.
