Good job interpreting this song. I could easily hear this on the radio.

Thks Sack. Yes, maybe the one closest to radio friendly.

Love the chord progression and arrangement. To emphasise the angsty feel of the song, I’d have given the distortion guitars more ‘bite’ and a heavier sound (phaser + chorus?). I’m not complaining about your mix though.

I like comments so feel free. The guitars don’t have much distortion because I wanted more dinamics and that “bite” sound produced by the strong playing style. Distortion kill dinamics most of the time.

I didn’t really “get” what you were doing with this at first but then it picks up and I sort of went “ah-ha!” I really love the sounds in this, and I agree with SJ, it’s radio-friendly without sacrificing any integrity.

Thks Jacinda. I create the songs as an evolving feeling, as a jorney so you will find always long intros and caotic full endings, so maybe most of the people go with the aha! felling. Glad you like it.

The first version is still one of my all-time favourites here on ccmixter. This one is a completely different beast. And boy, what a beast it is. Something to spice up my favourites playlist.

Thanks. In this versions are the main influences produced on me by the song, sadeness and rage, you can choose the flavor, hehe.

Rage. I wrote these lyrics in 1997, and finally was able to actually sing them 10 years later, and then now I have this fantastic keepsake, a broach to whittle into my heart to remind me. I really think this is the bomb.
