of course pat is 100% correct, the mix is kind of upside down with the hi-hat overwhelming the highs, the bass overcompressed, etc. etc.
but then if you don’t take his word for it in a constructive setting then it’s just a tip of the brim and wish you luck in the contest. |

the song structure is good but the mix is out of whack. Balance your mix a little better and this will be a nice “over the top”, soundtrack type remix.
