I really like the choice of where to seat the pella, the overall tone is reminding me of the feel I was leaning toward in my remix of this- I was just thinking there could be a little more space or “air” for this. Nice approach, just could use more “breathing room”, so to speak. Just my two cents…

Another two cents!

A bit more space would be probably a good thing, but despite of this I like your version very much. Nice glitchy sounds (probably these are too much repeated?) and subtile bass.

Nice. Your in a Teddy Riley place and that suits Songboys to a tee.

My main issue is with the timing of your verse vocal being half a bar out. Now if you intentionally did that fine but this pella is a half bar short into the chorus in the original arrangement so it catches up and goes on time by then if you follow.

But a nice entertaining job overall.

Hey Ls—great observation—I thought I would try leaving a lil room before re-entry to the verses —and although i recognized where most people who did this pella placed the hook—there was something more appealing about the “and i want you back but not like that” where I placed it —but its a very flexible pella —and hit material too!! Songboy “Frank Carter” ,yourself, Beckford—Duckett-J Lang —Man where have you guys been all my life!! Holla —Love —Crunk!
