Nice well rounded arrangement. Very hard to compose around some of CG’s pells without defacing her simple yet beautiful melodies. Nice!

Thanks, I love that girl! Frankly I think her melodies look simple ‘cause she sketches them on a tiny piano, but they’re no easy at all

Very, very well done. Great sound choices and harmonization! I also quite like the bass playing on this - it’s interesting without being intrusive, something very hard to do.

But, man - there’s a groove that happens right at the beginning of the chorus sections, with the added harmonization, that, if continued, would easily make this song truly outstanding!

[edit] The moment I’m talking about happens at 0:48-0:49. If you kept the snare hits going on the offbeats like they do there, I think (and this may just be personal taste!) this song would be one of my favorites on the site, no exaggeration. Again, though, this is very much a personal opinion - take it with a few grains of salt!

Bass: I confess I recently invested in a couple of nearfield monitors, I understood that mixing on headphones may be misleading in the low end. It’s a real pleasure to me hearing you saying that the bass is not intrusive!
Drums: I use EZdrummer and I was convinced it was a EZD fill, so I opened up the song project to give you references and I discovered that I programmed that fill myself, it’s the only 2 seconds in the whole song where the drum part comes from my own ideas, that makes me think..
