I showed my daughter how to punch cue the mic with the foot pedal.
I then asked her to tell me the things she loves, and the things she hates.
She chose DoKashiteru’s xylophone extravaganza as the basis of her per-teen ramblings and I just let her go.
Her big brother then came in afterwards (after playing the riff from Smoke on the Water for the umpteenth time) to cut up and mixdown her freeform thoughts.
This is the result.
I purposely left the kids alone and didn’t listen until I posted it now.
Her thoughts are somewhat universal.
I’m still scared of the dark and don’t like vomiting either.
I’m not sure about kissing boys at parties on rollerskates though.
When she gets a bit older I’ll be the one waiting in the carpark at discos to pick her up and frightening the crap out of any potential boyfriends. LOL
