As soon as I heard this unreal_dm track, I knew I needed to add some words (damn, I love what DM does!). I can’t approach a new year without rushing into a wave of sadness… and so, those are the words that manifested. My mother died on New Year’s Eve years ago… alas, my preoccupation with death. She was also a very funny woman, hence, my usual approach to the matter of death with humor. This one, however, is pretty much a summary of my current view on the matter (no humor, instead- healing).

Being my ‘By and By’ remix, I’d like to thank everyone on ccMixter for being so welcoming to me and my musical efforts. You are all an inspiration… a musical inspiration (a.k.a. the BEST kind of inspiration there is!). I feel so much more open to different styles of music… different forms of expression. So yeah, thank you for what you do.
