Every month Computer Music mag has a cover DVD with “free” samples and loops. I uploaded, (as unpublished) a mix with vocals from this site and music built from those loops. I searched around, this is the best I could find re: licenses:
http://www.musicradar.com/f... it says “In short, you can use all CM plugins and all samples on the disk, license free.” BUT I don’t know if this is the real deal. Any ideas? |

I’m not 100% sure. Most of the time I believe the samples are from commercial sample pack Demos. I’m pretty positive you can’t use any of those without paying.
But in any case, I don’t think many people here would know the answer to your question. And even if they did, it’s anonymous advice. So it would be better for you to ask CM Magazine or the creators of the disk. : ) |

Definitely ask the CM people to point you to the full license detail, as that’s a better source than this board—especially as to those cool CM sample packs from commercial vendors.
