i found that chopping you own samples streight from real drums are the best…. sometimes just to get that right feel, i sometimes layer up to four differently chopped beats at once, so you get that real thick sound from your drums… ps…. i’d try to stay away from the clap.

alprazolam is generic for xanax, and the sound i was going for was just that, generic.

I assum you’re looking for feedback? ;)
the rhythm is jarring and claps are little hot (mixing engineers have told me to mix in hi-hats and other high percussion LAST when doing a mix down and that tip has worked for me.) there is some soundtrack potention here, especially in the climbing bass part — although I have say it does sound like you’re sketching with stock sounds. and I have to say this: ‘Alprazolam’ sounds like a Hungarian word (there are tons of magyars here so they can confirm/deny) — I hate to say this but very close to ‘borzalom’ |
