Perfect funky/disco backing for Scomber’s vocal, which sounds… different. In a good way, I like it a lot. Sounds very present.

Awesome funky backing, not sure about the pitch down on the vox, but it’s growing on me. Always challenging for a singer to hear the melody transposed. I’m getting it more each time I listen guys. Thanks for remixing this and taking it on an unexpected direction

Leon,
There was nothing disagreeable about the initial pitch of your voice. The path to pitching your voice down was a compromise between the pitch of the some samples that fit the desired synth bass line. Pitched the samples up 2 steps and your voice down 2 steps. Your voice pitched down 2 steps sounds better IMO than the instrument samples sounded pitched up 4 steps. Actually, your voice sample withstood the slings and arrows of repitching very well. More than a 1 step change is often a bust. Irrespective of pitching the entire voice track down, some notes were repitched to force fit the voice into the two chord (Dm Gm) disco funk groove. Your voice sample was victimized for sure. We have not repicthed your lead voice tracks before but after dozens of listens forgot your voice was pitched down ;0) TRF |

Benign paroxysmal positional funk music. Nice work.
