Javolenus’ upload of Gaudete was the first time I had ever heard that carol (was never a fan of Steeleye Span). I liked it immediately and I like what you did with it (well, with Karen Savage’s rendition). Excellent medieval modernized.

This is my first time hearing Gaudete as well. Learned of Steeleye Span reading about Gaudete on Wikipedia.

Went to Librivox.org to listen for Christmas remix victims. Heard Karen Savage’s version and a House rhythm came to mind.

Sister Act or Lipps Inc? Kind of both, actually. :) The hard metric tracing with the bass and synths of the choral changes is really great. Toe tapping fun!
