The best remix of this year, bar none. And probably will be for a few months.
What an original and ambitious creation. Should be a college radio smash, and I hope it is! |

Thanks, AB. The music was built/recorded just about one note/phrase at a time. More work is needed, however. Dino’s vocals are so powerful that the rhythm section needs to be remixed to shine through mo’ better.

Wow! I loved it. I admire you :) How you get so amazing mix with a clear sound, Just amazing.

Thanks, DSMsc. The sound is due to practice, good samples, clean recording chain at the home studio, and plugins like Izotope Ozone 4 and Alloy. We are still learning the craft. There are many amazing and clean mixes on ccMixter.

Great stuff. Production to die for wrapped in a very unique and original arrangement. Well done!

Thanks, MCJiB. Feeling better about the second draft. The first draft was throw down to see if it would fly.

WOW! This is so far from the original it’s not funny lol. You did an amazing job here. More amazing is it fit without any altering. I do hear where the phrasing can be doctored to fit a tad better in some places but all the same it blows me away! Dino is going to freak,in a good way, when he hears it lol

The Copperhead/Texas Radio audio merger seems to be holding. Uploaded a second draft. Starting to smooth out the mix and Make Room for Dino.
Had an audio signal problem with the phrase “laugh and smile”. Was able to tame about 60% but had to stretch” smile” out a bit. While working on this and recalling Wiggle Room, was wondering how much the Copperhead magic processing was applied to Dino’s takes “:0) |

I didn’t really do much to Dino’s vocal. He’s very spot on. Didn’t put an FX on it either I believe. We will get it all worked out :)

this baby’s got more hooks than a trot line!!! the gold standard for horn band, proto-reggae, gulf coast blues, make the guy sound like Bonnie Bramlett, clean clean mix stuff from here on. this is gonna be a huge hit !!!

Thanks, Panu.
“more hooks than a trout line” Sure do enjoy your colloquialisms. Keep ‘em, coming. |

What a clever production. Deeply impressed. It’s a hit

Thanks, Per.
Feeling better about the tune now that we’re past the proof of concept and working on the mix. The first draft was exciting to create but very unwieldy and imbalanced. |
