This is pretty damn good. I wasn’t sure where you were taking it in the first couple of bars, but then the harmonies hit and things were good. :)

Very reminiscent of Jamiroquai’s “Do you know where you’re coming from” (which is a good thing in my books).

Some difficult notes in here that struggle to keep in place, but you know what? I can live with that. :)

I think this works extremely well- really cogent and awfully clever.

Another great example of how you manage to make a remix completely your own, while preserving the personality of the sampled artist… I’ve been struggling a bit with what approach to take with the state shirt samples I downloaded; maybe this was the inspiration I needed to get mentally unstuck!
