Cool! I like the way the strings enhance this piece in the way you’ve remixed it here.
It’s a fun coincidence, because I just finished mixing the “Osaka” sample into final form in a song for a netlabel release, with a completely different spoken word track. I am so very pleased to hear it pop up in this mix, as it makes me feel like old home week. Good to see you posting again, and thank you very much! |

those strings are amazing and you matched the sample perfect. I kind of wish the vox were maybe 1db softer as they really jump out but that’s a tiny nit. This is beautiful.

Thanks. I tried to stick with just a couple of additional elements and spend a while on each, rather a smaller amount of time on many layers.
I tried to match the rhythm of the words against the percussion, then the strings against the emotional intensity of the voice. The funny thing is I have no idea what she’s saying, just that some parts sound more intense to me than others. As for the 1db thing, thanks for the nit, I mixed this on headphones so wasn’t 100% sure about levels. |

For my ears something special, very pleasant. Sort of good combination of samples. Double length would have been great!!:-)

I like these samples, and what you’ve done with them.
And like the man says, more would be even better! |

very nice! it has a lush orchestral sound…not a hint of synthetic sound to be found excluding the drums.

very nice, listened to it few times so would have liked it longer but understand why not. The strings are really nice as is that dulcimer sound (yang-chin??).
enjoyed alot, thanks |

This is exceelent. I have been doing some soundtrack work lately and this is very much inline with the brief.
Very nicely done right up to the vocal bump at the end |

I really like the intertwining patterns and timbres; the strings sound great, nice dynamics!
