Made me smile like a curious kid. I feel like that with your music a lot… like I’m hearing something for the first time and I’m not sure where it will go! It’s a great feeling, so thank you for that and for the include.

Thank you. I initially thought I’d work some of your anti yum yucking song into it (love it) but in the end decided maybe there’s just not enough room for it, but I could probably fit some uke in.
Speaking of ukes - have you seen this? (Forgive me if that’s a repeat recommendation, memory’s not what it used to be.) |

Wow. The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain is amazing… what a blast it would be to see them live. That part near the end where they’re all playing one uke… What a fun shtick!

Hey, Speck, what an appropriately manic, driven mashup of gestures. Love it.
As to the question, “electrified(?),” the original wasn’t, exactly. The drum actuator was electronic—a piece of elaborately bent piano wire displaced by a solenoid pulsed using a microprocessor—but the sounds are all acoustic—the wire hitting the suspended can lid. I thought I’d post a little video but at the moment my website is suffering the slings and arrows of a hosting service “upgrade”. Thanks for using it! |

Delightfully manic, the underlying urgency is quite a boost to the old nervous system!
I loved hearing my bass and chops mixed together with other orchestrals, almost legitimizes my noodling :D Thank you so much for including me, I appreciate your use of the source material in this remix :) |
