That was quick. Introducing the new genre Speck lounge.
You know, your mixes featuring one’s material are so good so you should do my music instead of me.
A humble thank you for including me in this one.

But the reason it’s so good is because it’s not my music (or voice), I’m just arranging other people’s. So tis I who am humbled.

I like the smooth, downtempo backing so much that I’m torn whether to appreciate this most as it is or to wish to just have it as an instrumental. I like this one.

I dig this track. You have a knack for focusing on a lyrical nuggest in a song and composing something with or around it that totally supports the way in which you reframe the original — while I guess that what remixing does (or should do?) you do it remarkably well and in way that I suspect highlights your particular point of view.

Your take on this takes the cake… but then, timberman’s original was quite delicious… perhaps his version took the cake and yours iced it. In summary- awesome mix.

Or maybe timberman’s layer cake gave birth to a cupcake? (Oh man, now I’m getting hungry.)

Man, I’ve got so much catching up to do listeningwise here at the mixter, and remixes like this are why I wish I had more time for it. New sticker idea: Got Speck?
