Well done. I too have been pondering this project, because I have trouble understanding/accepting the concept of/need for self description. Anyway… amen.

…I think it’s a vicious cycle (need of self description)…when parts of one’s identity are attacked it produces a need to respond… to explain the identity… expose it to others and encourage understanding. Maybe. But really, yeah… people are just people.

Maybe it is less about self description, and more about describing others? Or all of us as one species? Last night I met with Chris Jordan and wow what an evening. I wonder what will become of our species….and all the other ones we are pushing to extinction. Where is our identity in that? Thanks for letting me share that here…..
