Thanks for using me here, it makes a moving collage, I look forward to hearing the rest of it.
My mother worked as an announcer at the BBC during WW2, and they made an amazing wax recording of a “buzz” bomb flying overhead, cutting out, and landing on the building (their main concern seems to be with whether the recording came out ok!) Maybe I’ll see if I can transfer it to an mp3 and post it at Freesound, or send it to you if you’re interested. |

That would be great! I’ll use what I can get. The difficulty with the piece is that it is so long. I’d like to get images to make a film/video to go with it so that when I release it, it might make more sense, though I’d love to think people could just listen to the ‘story’ but it takes a bit of patience. Upload what you can! Thanks again for the great piano.

Another example of how a relatively simple idea can have a dramatic impact. While it may be historical in terms of the soundbites used, it is just as much ripped from today’s headlines as the human race still cannot resist the urge to engage in warfare. Very nice work Shimoda.
