Wow dude, how you tamed that vocal i don’t know…It’s proper out there (would be a kick as punk pella).
Your mix calms it and gives it a purpose i think. Real nice smoothness to your mix. I like |

did you see the ‘cure’ christmas special where they all wore red v-neck pull-overs and had all 57 of their children gathered around the tree? it was great, all done in soft-focus. this is an inspired track and i’ll listen to it again. it’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Heh, yeah, this is like grabbing a pop-punk singer and making him sing in a nice, smooth lounge setting. Nice contrast

Very nice remix! Something like Punk mets Funk. Very tasty sound collection. HaveĀ“_t heard the original samples so, did you play the guitar? If so, I am down on my knees now! :-)

Thanks man. It is me on the two guitars and the bass, but alas not live. I’ve got a really nice Godin midi guitar. Its such a great guitar that it sounds as good as my old Martin in a traditional sense, but plug into the DAW and its an untamed beast that allows you to do everything you shouldn’t be allowed to do on a guitar. Play the piano, flute or even the drums without touching the keyboard - together with all the other lazy midi features (eg live quantise, step record etc). No I don’t sell them, but I should. I’m in love..
Thanks for your kind words. |
