outdamnstanding! you guys could put the poseur alt bands right out of business with this (panic at the disco, maroon 5, babyshambles look out…). two guys recording at home in their p.j.’s just ate your lunch.

Well I’m reading “slowhands” autobiography at the moment which for me is a real trip down memory lane and this piece adds to the atmo with that “Creamy” feel.
Thought the vox could have sat further back in the mix to add to that live feeling but still a very listenable piece. |

Thanks RT, I originally had the vox placed much further back but felt I couldn’t hear the vocal properly. I guess I’m a stickler for music where your can actually hear what the frontman is saying, rather than just becoming another ambient instrument in the mix.
BTW, EC has had quite an extraordinary life, creamy in parts and black as coal in others. Great book. |
