Thanks Panu, it taught me a lot about pitching my voice to complement a female voice naturally without the kitchen sink of tools I generally throw at it post production. Cheers mate:)

Thanks khidir, they are somewhat autobiographic so that’s where the felt in heart comes from I guess… Cheers mate. Nice place Singapore, pity I only see the terminal at Changi when I’ve been there recently.

Thanks mate, learning to trust myself is often difficult; besides, my other passion (surfing) has taken its toll on my aging body in the last 12hrs - best waves in months - I’m hurting, particularly now I’m trying to sync a nasty reggae beat

Just a great reworking of the song.

Your production sounds spot on.

Like it.

Thanks LS, trying to play myself rather than the fool >
used to be my fav instrument… Cheers mate, love your R&B work on this site. Very good for someone so “long in tooth” (hang on a sec, I’m no spring chicken either!)

The biggest mistake I could make today was listening to your song just before I started working on my own stuff, because my own song sounded awfully bleak in comparison. Thanks…;-)

Thanks Sub, I like your stuff a lot (particularly the bleak stuff). Keep shaken that ambiance up mate.

Sounds like the Rolling Stones in the late ‘70 when Keith Richards took Jaegger’s place in some of the more classic rock ballads. It’ amazing how you put yourself in the first place and let Shannonsong be your favourite backvocals. These are the best things that may happen on this site!

Hey Carosone thanks for the comparison!?#
I’m feeling like Keef; just after he’d been shaken out of that coconut tree a few years back in Fiji (and landed on his head- lucky hey?)
Monty Python fan Mick : “Can you do that again Keef, you lucky bastard.”

I think one of the great aspects of this site is that whilst it is about remixing it also allows the addition of elements that take the re-mix far beyond the sources and gives the listener on occasion something very special to partake of.

This piece is such a one and a great addition to your already very fine songbook here at CCM.

I really like what you did with her song. Kinda got a Jim Morrison/Beatles style to it.
It’s tight.

Thanks Max, I’m totally flattered with the comparison but hardly worthy…

Thanks Mr Lang!
I’ve mutated into the proverbial Mad Hatter in the last few weeks. Chase’n too many goddamn rabbits down their burrows cause Alice doesn’t live here anymore.
