This fits very well for a video production showing turbulent and urban world we experience these days. Love the opera tenor vocal set in a trippy environment.

I like electronica music because one song can do so many things. Here you’ve mixed together disparate things into one very good listen.

Classical Singing mixed with electronics is one thing I like pretty much. And you have used the combination to create a great “art of noise”

Rocavaco, thank you for resurrecting this track and breathing new life into it with the opera vocals. It works surprisingly well. I like artists that take risks when creating art. I always feel like I’m painting a picture or making a movie when composing music. When I listen to this, I can feel the scenes and see the imagery. I like it, I like it a lot.

Thanks. I have been writing a lot lately though. Cryptic writings mostly. I rotate through mediums to express myself. Anyways, I know I don’t have many samples here for you to work with, just completed tracks so I apologize for that and congratulate you on finding something to work with. I have shared tons of field recordings on freesound.org but I understand the api between them and ccmixter is not currently working.

Thank you for the kind words, Travis. Sorry for being so late here but the bytes flowed so slow today over the wide Atlantic :)
I can only say it again that it was a pleasure to explore your work and I’m ashamed that I didn’t click more often the recommends button during the last years. Maybe I just did not listen carefully enough or I had to widen my musical horizon the last 5 years since I’m a member here at ccMixter. Music connects us. |

If the 5th Element had had a blue man singing, this would have been the song :)

Great job. I understand the challenge of doing something with fully mixed tracks. You created a marvelous example of what can be done. Bravo! Thank you so much for being part of our musical ccMixter family — you add so much to the mix.

you’ve made me smile. this is some spectacular editing. what a great concept, No Rules, and your execution is fantastic. including the Dr’s operatic vocals was visionary and takes it to an entirely new level. there is nothing ordinary about this mix, with so many intricate touches popping up, simmering down, throughout.
