Fabolous. I’m completely blown away by this song. I consider it a masterpiece while it has some crispy lightness.
I understand the sound owes something to Alex’s Ave in its beginning, yet it must have been working in your brain for so long to get this fresh new thing. The piano cut, the bass, the clever drum programming, the stringy synth, the beautiful synth break, the creative use of speeding up Mykle: everything is perfect and balanced. Seems tiny, but it’s not.
Ported to my favourites (not many), and to my mp3 player to hear it again tomorrow in the car when going to work in a spring morning through country roads.
