Nice ethereal blend of different tempos work quite well in this mix give it a more organic feel.
Very well done and great choice of mix material. |

I am very honored, this mix of my songs made me cry, and yes ….
You have to collect the tracks in a nice way, thank you thank you. The nostalgia that emerges from my songs is highlighted by the loop. Bravo !! sorry for my English… |

Pas d’importance. You express yourself through music.
It’s been an unusual year for me. Reduced mobility necessitated selling our beautiful country property in the Mount Lofty Ranges and move back to the suburbs of Adelaide. Between renovating our “new” old house and finalising my “Square Pegs” collection there hasn’t been much time for ccmixter. I had a second total knee replacement a few weeks back. The upside of that incapacitation was the opportunity to sign up to the Sow & Reap Secret Mixter! It’s been very rewarding to get back to the guitar, production - and even singing a couple of lines! Thanks for the inspiration! |

Your positive message reflects your state of mind, and your music …
I wish you a lot of courage and a healing soon. See you soon |

I second Doxent’s and Panu’s reviews here.
You did a great work here. If I am asked I would classify this as music for the season fall. |

Thankyou!

a wonderful homage indeed. and holy cow, what an impressive use of stems!!! (i’m honored to be included in there…) Your singing and vocal harmonies are so powerful — and even more emotive with that compelling acoustic guitar part. an introspective journey of sowing, reaping and harvest.

Thanks Snowflake. I’ve used your Garden in remixes before (along with dozens of others - it’s Beauty personnified!) and I couldn’t resist using the Grim Reaper quote at the end to darken the sowing and reaping theme!

I like the sense of walking through a gallery, accompanied by a guide who is playing the guitars while guiding us through the artwork.

I’d say you used a very similar effect in your Secret Mixter, Robert. Only you did it better!

I enjoyed reading your description as much as listening to the mix. I honestly hope this next comment comes out the right way (please excuse the inelegance in expression): it’s admirable that you took on a random secret mixter assignment and saw it through, using whatever skills and tools you have. The production skills of participants are astounding. But as they say, courage is not the absence of fear but going ahead to do something inspite of fear. I’d say you came out tops with this attempt.

Thanks, Ivan. I appreciate it.
