Thanks for listening - I heard one of your Ed Picks, and loved it. Really glad you liked this. In terms of “effortless”, I realize the harmonies sound OK all together (kinda made up church congregation chords - imperfect, but with some soul). But the individual parts don’t sound like much effort was put in. True, I guess, since they were quick one-take layers by ear (an imperfect ear of mine for sure when it comes to harmony). This weekend I think I may take a shot at actually arranging the harmonies and making a tighter set of recordings. I’m concerned the ones I have up now may be hard to place within other harmonic structures - we’ll see. Thx agn.

well add the new harmony files but dont take these away. I have played a chord sequence against this today and they sound fine.

In fact i am at a loss to explain this melody as it can be played in two entirely different keys a semi tone apart and it still works ???

I didn’t use any sort of reference pitch or chords. I just sang a verse the way I have been singing it to myself in the car, then built the chord layers, and then did each subsequent verse.
