Fantastic Ivan, I love the background metal prog for Jacinda. The transition to the piano part is perfectly done and very effective. Congrats for this mix.

Well done! Love the mean gtrs. I could stand for them to be a bit more upfront in certain parts; But that’s a minor nit-pic. Love it…. Everything fits!

Have to refine my mixing and sound-engineering skills further. The problem was trying to ensure the vocals stood out. They were constantly in danger of being drowned out by the guitars. And the track volume red-lined at some parts. So in the end I decided to bring them down.

I really love those angry crunchy guitars….I think the most challenging thing about my Souls pella is the time signature. I think it seems a bit awkward here, but I really love the vision in this. And your instrumentation is spot-on. Very Cool. :)

And then I was too chicken to cut and stretch your pell. Most of the arrangement worked, I hoped. Your vocals are super. Thanks for sharing.

Cool remix! Jacinda’s vocals together with Richard’s psychedelic voice and furious guitars works very well.

I was quite surprised about the vocal parts too. Guess that’s part of why I keep hanging around here. Half the fun is in the discovery. Thanks for listening and commenting!

This is great indeed. I love the overall atmosphere you have managed to create here. Very dramatic.

Thank you for listening and commenting. Good to know what has worked. Was a bit worried the heavy metal treatment would turn people off. Apparently, it hasn’t! LOL

I’d like to believe that my brain is forming new connections with each attempt to create from juxtaposed sounds. :)

Very dramatic piece Ivan. ABs spoken word piece is very enigmatic, jacinda gives a spiritual flavour , your guitars - grit and excitement. Then then the nice transitions at the end. Bravo

Actually, my initial reactions were that AB’s spoken words were spiritual and jacinda’s were enigmatic. Thanks for the thumbs up!

How gothic and groovy! Terrific job Ivan — the heavy instrumentals a thrilling counterpoint to Jacinda’s delicacy, all of which splendidly supports the admiral’s recitation.

great concept & put together beautifully. now i’ll associate this track & jacinda’s harmonies with bees. and as they mass to attack i’ll hold my hands out & say, ‘bees, doods, i love you.’
