Once Upon a Time in the Blues: sounds like Sergio Leone meets Copperhead and Suzi Q

The combination of the super ambient backing (more than enhanced by the bottleneck) and the more urgent copperhead and Suzi Q. vocals brings a super cinematic tension… the song itself feels like a short film set in the desert.

Great atmosphere, the slide guitar is superb but it’s the way the instrumentation supports everything that is truly amazing.

Too short.
Had me glued to the speakers. It’s Paris, Texas-cinematic for sure and I didn’t want the dialogue between the voices (and the instruments) to end. However, the true success with this piece is your ability to take the Blues genre that’s so stuck in traditions and do something new and fresh with it but this is not just blues noveau, this is the future of blues. |

This is one fine backing track! I really love the openness of this. Anyway you can upload a version with just the HHW vocal?

Gripping. This had me at ‘slide guitar.’ Moving and intelligent composition.
