Great fit to the pella, obviously some work put into this, but… (you knew there was a “but” coming, didn’t you?) I kept waiting for a dynamic shift- the brass was nice, the backing vocals were awesome, but where was the crescendo/bridge/breakdown? I kept thinking, “OK, any minute now, he’s going to pause, and the doubletime’s going to kick in…”
I wouldn’t whine, but it’s such a great sound for his voice!

Thanks for the kind words about the pella. I really dig this remix. It has a nice jazzy loose feeling that fits well with the song and lyrics. The similarly loose and nicely soft female backing vocals add a really nice touch. Overall, a very nice coffee-house feel, which I feel is very appropriate for the pella.
