Catch of the day this one. Great oldskool hardcore, bordering on gabba. The newer material in the genre tends to go a bit overboard on the kickdrum, and whilst fat is one thing, too much and it ends up as dirge. This actually finds a good medium, and there’s clubs and pirates that would play this. My advice here is try and hook up with an animator/filmmaker and get something on YouTube that is locked in with the beat (much like the Mr Ouzo track or more recently Gangnam Style). Simple and effective, the right video would seriously make this a hit!

To be precise: Frenchcore. which is a subgenre of hardcore closely related with freetekno. The sound tend to have more influence from techno. But it do resemble a lot like oldskool hardcore. It has the same dark and minimalistic character :-)))
About the video idea: would be cool, Maybe I try make it myself, (or check for somebody who can do a better job than me) I once made a video with a friend. It’s really crap, but it was fun to do. Anyway thanks for review and all.. |

Thanks man.
I think the problem is they don’t value it. Everybody can make music today so they value only the work that in there opinion is professional. Which in there point of view has to be better because the artist make money out of it. Or so I think. Today it is to much about the artist and to little about the music. |
