An exciting take in your series of Kara remixes :)
I love the contrast between the piano and bass synth, I’m a sucker for resonant bass sweeps :) Happy to be a part of this remix, thank you for including me! |

Thanks for your kind words. I’m not totally happy with this version. The piano does not really blend in. With some more reverb, less hardness and some more glue it sounds besser, I think. Maybe I gonna upload another version of if.
Regarding the bass, these are the same two as in the other versions. Think both are default presets, the one from the Vital software synthesizer, the other one from a Craft Synth. The “sweep” in the synth is somehow introduce by using a knob on the AKAI MPK mini. No idea which parameter it actually changes. :) |

Ok, created a new version. This one is definitively better. At least I hope so

Yep, definitely more balanced, the melody is wider and more dynamic while retaining the original spirit.
Well done! Re: Mystery knob - my guess is something to do with pitch, it seems to jump an octave or two. I like that cute little waver during the sustain, like it’s double tapped. I bet that synth would be fun to make acid house with :) |

Thanks!
Whish I would know whether you are speeking about the craft synch (which I did not head any luck for making sound acidish) or the Vital VST. If you’re talking about the latter, you can download it here. The preset might have been part of the initial free presets. It is “Fleet” by Databroth. |

Very cool. I love that you went lofi with this one. The piano is great. The downtempo arrangement adds a chillness to the story… makes it more digestible…. like a half pill. 😉 Thanks for the include!

Half of the fame for the piano belongs to the “Forced Jazz” plugin by Ableton. I uploaded the piano with and without forced jazz as a sample for you to compare. :)

Oh, that’s cool. Thanks for the comparison.

it fits perfectly with this event! uplifting track with its faraway vocal placement juxtaposed against lovely piano. the loop holds everything together with dashes of cool synth tones. bravo!
