Beautiful, Kara, absolutely intelligent use of the Boogie da Bee upload by TRF.
.

I don’t find these lyrics as not safe for work, I would teach my children at school!!

Thank you so much, Carosone. Truly.

(I dropped a little “f-bomb” in there and didn’t want to catch anyone off-guard.)

Who do you believe?

i love that the track opens with the sound of swarming bees. from the first line of your powerful lyrics i was in!

wanted power so badly
You didn’t say a word

thank you also for reminding us that in spite of this absurdity parading around its power trip and taking away our rights, we have the power to unite!

if there’s anywhere in the world that can be an example of how to unite, it’s here at ccMixter.

i dig that you spoke this instead of singing — it feels right for the TRF groove and the subject matter.

great track Kara!!

I was waiting to hear some commentary on this. Yeah, the swarm is perfect in the intro. Nature gives us hints—like the recent lethal 25-minute assault by five female bonobos against an adult male in Kokolopori, likely in retaliation for his aggression toward an infant. It’s a perfect ‘swarm’ strategy, much like Japanese honeybees defending against giant hornets. Individually, the bees are defenseless against an armored scout, but they find a way together: swarming the hornet to form a vibrating heat-ball. By raising the internal temperature to exactly 46°C (115°F), they cook the intruder alive while surviving themselves. The difference between life and death is just a few degrees, proving that collective intelligence is the ultimate equalizer.

It would be cool if “epstein” became a popular tag ‘round these parts.

I also think “Epstein Class” could be an important contribution to Marxian theory.

Weird fucking times…

Had forgotten about this bee song. Creative and skillful use of it, Kara

Bees and politics are an interesting mix. According the 1986 movie “The Fly”, there is no such thing as insect politics.

Thanks so much, TRF. I had 3 of your tracks in the running and this one just took off.

I hadn’t heard of “The Fly”… wow!
