this is AWESOME Kara. the lyrics emerge from dark shadows into hopeful togetherness. when the last chorus starts an octave higher, wow, it becomes very powerful. this is a definitely a group sing-a-long. what a hook!!

Brilliant! The concept and lyrics are fantastic and your vocal performance, as always, just draws me in. I love the build of passion at the end. You always come up with something original and excellent, Kara.

So kind! Thank you, Ciggi! I’m so happy that you like it.

Another winner, you along with Nashville’s rayski and a handful of dauntless free spirits keep the spirit of American folk music alive. I’ll take simple & heartfelt every time.

.
What a nice compliment. Thank you. Did you know that folk music is my first musical love? You should definitely add yourself to the list of folks who keep folk alive.

You and your fantastic humor have always reminded me of one of my favorite comediennes, Victoria Wood and her songstress style. I know some might not agree with me but I intend it as a very high compliment (example of her - http://youtu.be/iKRcm5v30tw )
|
.
Oh, I find that quite complimentary. Thank you. I do adore writing humorous songs. I hadn’t heard of Victoria Wood… she makes me think of one of my favs - Christine Lavin. Thank you, Rey.

Yes!!! Congrats from my part to! This is so, so beautiful! And: Your voice is always candy, but in the end, when you go up with your voice I had some goosebumps (in unreals version). That does not happen often though.

Thank you so much, Hans! That’s such a wonderful thing to hear… the goosebumps! It makes me feel satisfied with my work. Thank you.
