Vocalology 102. Completely unexpected. It tickles me (is that ok?), makes me smile. You made the voice connect sound very direct. I’m glad you enjoyed the project. And yes, thanks for inviting all to play along. That’d be swell.
By the way, I like that quaver you got in Ciggi’s voice. Also by the way, thanks for the .zip, I think I’ll be using your spoken word in something down the line. |

Oh yeah, I say things tickle me all the time. I’m really so very glad you dig. I used some kind of delay or sumethin’ on to make Ciggi’s voice quaver… and pitch shifted maybe… I did end up using a piece of all 16 samples, but not all at once.

This project is just sooo cool (sorry to be redundant — that’s pretty much what I said to Speck too). What a creative, fun exercise in vocalese. Love it!

Thank YOU! I felt like it was an exciting experiment/challenge… all Speck’s idea. So he deserves the cool credit here. I’m thrilled that you dig!

Well this is very wild. I like the fx on the vocals. Just the right touch. Bravo!

Thank you, MR. cop! Glad you dig the fx… I tinkered quite a bit to get it right and not over-do it.

I enjoyed this, is different from the tracks i listened lately (Excluding the other from this project). It’s really a nice idea, with (only) wonderful voices. And these breaks where you talk, with that light reverb, that makes a great contrast with the singers reverbs. Like it

Thank you for your detail analysis. Seriously. I appreciate it. I’m glad this came off how I intended. I’m so used to writing pop songs… this experiment was a huge breath of fresh air!

You pushed the boundary further with this one. It’s a real performance piece and it held me spellbound. Go to the top of the class!

WOOP! Thank you, Ciggi-roo! I’m gonna teach that class one day… you just wait. (It was a sheer pleasure to use you and Panu and Speck’s voices… so fun to mix and make work. Thank YOU.)

Artsy but not fartsy. I think this is just masterful and the idea was creative and brilliant.

.
I’m quite glad to hear it lacked the fartsy. Thank ya’, Per.

.
Thank ya’, panu! I enjoyed yours as well. It’s pretty incredible to hear what different folks will do with the same samples…
