Knockout. Those dark, raw and honest lyrics are outstanding, as is your singing and interpretation. You have this way of laying bare the pain that most people keep covered, even to themselves, and using exactly the right words to do it. This is so impressive.

Sometimes when I write I don’t really think… I just go there, ya’ know? Thank you for appreciating the rawness… Your supportive words mean a lot to me.

Clever and effective alternative lyric…wonderful delivery and nice clean recording. I really like the countdown at the end.

.
Thanks a lot, deb. I was debating on the countdown- it’s great to hear that you liked it!

Love the lyric and the way you’re singing it. Dark, forceful and emotional. The music is full of suspense and almost sounds like a modern blaxploitation soundtrack. Really good!
|
.
I had to look up ‘blaxploitation’… I’ll have to do some listening later. The music is all Ghost K… I just did some slicing and dicing… mainly by taking the end of their song (the fast part) and using it as the chorus. Thank you for all of your supportive words, Per… big time.

This way of collecting samples belongs to you, it is only and I like very much. The sound is good, the vocal party pass above and leash behind you a special line of flowers, clean sensation in my felt, very good work MMT.

Thank you so much, Blue. I was so happy to be able to contribute to this project. Ghost K’s music is so well-written and emotional. Thanks again!

I often listen with great interest your acapellas, hoping that I would be inspired to a new musical adventure. I do not know yet if the shades used here, will bring me declicked, but I love your text, and your very personal way of singing with the tremolo of a certain form of revolt in the voice.
May be, who knows? |
.
Thank you for listening and sharing your thoughts, VickyDan… I’m very flattered that you listen to my pells for inspiration (whether used in the future or not). :) I’m glad you liked the vocal tremolo in this… I was pretty happy when it accidentally occurred.

I enjoyed your track (and downloaded instantly the vocal stems, thanks), very pleasant. A little bit sad, but sometimes i like sad things. But i’m not a “emo”, anyway. :)
Congrats Kara, your singing is beautiful |
.
Thank you, DICE. I like sad things, too. (A lot.) With a song like this, I started with the sad, dark feelings, but exaggerated them into a darker form. By writing and feeling the exaggeration, it seems to help me get through (emotionally heal). Thanks again- your kindness always brightens my day.
