Not something I like to think about, but then, I guess that’s the point, isn’t it?

I hear you. Big time. I go from believing death is a cruel, cruel trick to accepting it as the most magical part of life. But the concept I’m really blown away with lately is the human mind’s ability to block it out.

You have a unique mind and vision. but the ability to make such dark, heavy stuff fit in a happy song is what really blows me away. It was only after reading the lyrics that I understood the message.

Hey Abstract- Thank you. I consciously spoke the words in a cheerful tone- I’m glad that was obvious. I love contrast… it’s very much how I see life… the dark and light… together.

It isn’t a sunshiny sunday afternoon song, but thought provoking, for sure!

I’m with you, Zapac. I’ve been reading a really interesting book about death called “The Denial of Death” (by Ernest Becker). Though, it’s something I seem to always ponder…

I like the atmosphere. Funny but cold. It grabs you. Minimal at its best.

Thanks for listening magmavander. While working on this, I debated on keeping it minimal with nickleus’ samples or adding strings, synth pad, etc. I’m glad I made the right choice…

cleverly insightful lyrics framing our time of terror.

Hey! Thanks! Can you believe that this is from 2011? Subliminal found it and then J.Lang also gave it a spin. So cool how our work comes back to… haunt us. 😆
