Thanks, snowflake. I’m glad you dig. Sometimes I question myself… I guess I just like to find humor in the darkness… put the dark words with goofy music… make it ironic? I dunno. Just posted the lyrics… after typing them out, I’m not sure the humor comes off as well as I’d hope… Ahhh wells…

I think we both have a weakness for darkness ;) Maybe it’s because english isn’t my first language but I miss the humor in this :( I do love your vocals and organ parts.

Yes we do. :D Well, the humor in this one is pretty subjective… I guess I always thought it was kinda funny b/c of the contrast of the dark lyrics and the upbeat organ. Also, I find the irony in a New Years resolution being not to kill oneself kinda funny… Maybe it’s just me… Regardless, I’m really glad you dig the vox and organ…
I’d love to hear what you’d do with it… Big time. |

Funny where the listener can take a song. You’ve meant it as dark humour, but in my personal hearing of it, I know there are people who struggle with depression, that a resolution like this is like bread and water. You need to get the bare necessities before setting sight on finer things.

This composition is very dark and beautiful, Kara. Love it! And was a lot of fun to remix. The “kill” part is my favorite, i dig so much! Really well done, in my modest opinion :)
