Vigorous percussion intro, leading right into Ms. Vybe’s vocals. The backing is solid, but it’s a bit suppressed, somehow. The vocals shine out well in the mix, though,which is good. I like that the mix is subservient to the spoken word. But perhaps you’ve gone too far down the route of putting the vox up front. I like that little funky soul guitar poppin’ in from 1:35 or so. Really adds to the mix—gives it something it was really missing. A remix where it appears from the get-go would be much more exciting.
