i remixed this killer rap from Mikey several years ago (when i had really no idea what i was doing). i’m utterly schooled. you’ve taken the pell in such a cool, unique direction. i’m digging that bass groove! killer synth solo!! Congrats on the Ed Pick. This track needs to be heard!!

Coolness everywhere, love the way you develop the song :)

A lot of variety in a short amount of time, but nothing felt forced or out of place. My only nitpick would be that the pella seems a bit too upfront compared to the (very funky) backing tracks.. sounds like the original recording was on the hot side, I know what a pain keeping rap pellas properly center-stage while also not overwhelming the mids in the beat can be at times ;)

A rich backing track whose initial section reminded me of Isaac Hayes.
