Great backtrack to this lovely piano part from gudark.

It’s such a beautiful score to begin with and wanted to see if I could do it justice with my backing track.

I really, really, really like how you used the source material. Totally unexpected effect. When the track first started, my initial reaction to the heavy, industrial beat was that it did not comport with my idea of daydreaming in the rain — but then when the piano came in, and the synth pad — it took me to a different place entirely and the percussion became the rain in a way — the backdrop for thoughts that meander aimlessly during a rainy day daydream. Excellent work!

Thanks Sackjo. That’s the nature of storms isn’t it, they are unexpected and you don’t know what they will bring until it happens. And it’s one of the reasons why I enjoy them so much, I like to sit there and listen to the rain fall from the heavens, the sound of thunder rumbling off in the distance and the occassionaly flash of discharged energy as clouds collide. ;)

This got me. My partner and I often sit out on our patio during storms… you captured that refreshing excitement. [Ed. Pick.]

Aw shucks, MMT. You are making me blush here. I’m glad you enjoyed it that much to make it an Ed. Pick. Thanks to Onlymeith for putting up this fine track for me to tinker with.
