Well, listen; more power to you for doing the vocals any way you like. But to your question, no; the vocals really aren’t my thing - sorry.
I’m loving the backing track though. Works really well for me, and I think you have a very strong hook. I get the point of having a much lighter vocal matched up with this track - I think that’s definitely the right thing to do, but I would personally prefer vocals that were originally recorded that way. But I’m glad you posted it this way rather than compromise something you felt strongly about, so cheers for that. |

Thank you for your advice colab.
I guess you have to spend a few hours producing the track to start liking that vocal treatment… which certainly is not what I should be aiming for! Anyway, thanks for supporting my right to destroy the acapella any way I want! :) |

I think the vocals work nice and this entire track sounds great! Nice work.

I love a capella because I am in an a capella group so that is great. I didn’t know about this web until my friend told me about it. I am really glad there are more than a couple people who like hooking up a capella with a nice soundtrack like you did.
Although I agree with Colab that the vocals need to be soft, I am not sure if you have to make them original. I think it leaves the hearier with thoughts, questions, and a dreamy kind of feal. Oh and the back tracking is great. Bravo! :) |
