Thanks! That you like it still after hearing it about 100 times is a good sign ;-)

Don’t you just HATE how you can only delete your reviews on the old site and can’t take back recommendations at all?

This is the kind of music I’d like to be on a stage with a band performing!
|
.
I’m thinking about using it as a audition song for players to form a band. I’d love to put a live show together around this song’s style. Thanks for picking up on that!

That’s so cool ! I never thought somebody would make a melody and a whole tune out of this organ sample. And in a style I rarely use. Energic mix, I like it a lot.
Do you plan to upload your guitar tracks as well ? By the way, I think the sample you used was “170708 nappes 01” but who cares. |
.
Yes, of course you’re right the dreamy sample is 170708 nappes 01! I’ll fix it in the attributions.
I will also upload the guitar and drum parts. I could easily just do mixes of you and you alone, you have so much great material! It’s a treasure chest for any mixter! Glad you liked it. |

That’s some fantastic top notch playing, and the mix itself is like some incredible fusion of blues and jazz fusion.
The guitar is absolutely locked onto the organ part, and that’s what really makes the groove work. And when the blues lead breaks come in, they’re just pure taste - holding back the “finger tapping” as you put it in the forum, and delivering raw tone and perfectly selected notes. I thought you played humbuckers? That was really great single coil tone…. |
.
Thanks for the compliments Admiral!
I really had a lot of fun locking into Nurykabe’s organ sample. SO tasty it is. Staying tight to it was like driving side by side down the freeway at 80mph and holding hands with the windows rolled down. Secret revealed: I have a ‘63 stratocaster. |

I love the drums you’ve created. I’m glad I couldn’t work with them because I proberbly would use it as starting point for my mix. And as I learned working with your samples you are a great gitar player, you’ve showed that again on this song

Thanks Abstract—I’m glad too. Your mix of Music is a Gateway was amazing!

This is fusion-astic fun! Dude! Your playing is first class. Your comment about using this song as an audition piece for a band — you would have to find some players with serious chops to get these parts down — fast and tasty too! I’m totally impressed. Terrific work!

.
Thanks Sackjo22! Yeah, It would take some practice for me to pull this off live. But fun! We’ll see ;-)
